Let us talk about a particular lyric of the song entitled Play The Guitar lyrics by B.o.B.

Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr. or more commonly known as B.o.B is a famous American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is indeed a man with multiple talents. During his sixth grade he decided he wanted a career in music. The music served as a therapy and a creative outlet. He is presently connected with Grand Hustle Records, Rebel Rock Entertainment and Atlantic Records. His songs “Nothin’ on You,” “Airplanes,” “Magic,” and “B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray” all reached the top of the charts just after its release. In the year 2011, B.o.B releases new songs which included “Play the Guitar”

“Play the Guitar” features Andre 3000 another American rapper and produced by Salaam Remj. This song is an expression of his “love for music and love for the guitar.” According to B.o.B, “I feel like it shows people that we are two different artists and we actually do sound different and have our own styles. Not to say that I wasn’t influenced by Outkast and Andre, but I feel like it’s a ‘pass-the-torch’ type of moment. He really gave me a lot of love on the feature and I’m looking forward to hearing what people have to say about it.” Other inspiration for the song Play The Guitar lyrics were T.I. and Drake. This song was supposed to be included in his album, Strange Clouds but then decided not to include the song. Even though the song was not included in the album, it was still included in U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at number ninety-eight in January 2012.

What is with this song that gets people attracted to the said song? Let us explore more behind Play The Guitar lyrics.

The introductory line of “B.o.B play the guitar” simple means B.o.B is one of the best guitarists which were proven with this song.

The first verse in Play The Guitar lyrics was sung by B.o.B and each line has a particular meaning. Some lines of the first verse in Play The Guitar lyrics shall be discussed. “Fresh to death like I’m dressed for a eulogy my outfit’s retarded, my flow is the stupidest, dumb” these lines means that people are dressed up when attending funerals. As a contrast to how B.o.B dresses. He dresses in a berserk kind of way. This is not limited to his apparel but also to his self which is further explained in the next line, “I’ll probably need to after school tutor it.” He needs additional attention because of his state of mind, of him being stupid.

Another interesting line of the song is “Sideline haters need to chill where the cooler is” describes where negative people should be, at the side and able to cool down their temper. Which is a nice friendly note to people to people with temper issues.

And his ending line for the first verse “So far away there ain’t no signal on my phone Cause I’m a star, so when I hit the bar it’s like Cheers Everybody knows who you are Who would’ve thought I would’ve took it this far” has a lovely meaning. These last few lines express the fact that B.o.B is going to somewhere far, that no one can trace him. But wherever he goes everyone will notice and know him. No one would have ever expected for him to be famous and be wealthy.

The second verse in Play The Guitar lyrics was sung by Andre. Some of the interesting lines on the second verse shall be discussed here. “Looked over and I see B.o.B with this strange cigar He’s standing on top of Dunkin Donuts, it’s like he own it” signifies B.o.B’s album, Strange Clouds where B.o.B is number one or the best and greater than anyone else.

The next lines “We out somewhere and me in Europe, they out here yawnin’ My niggas threw out way too much jewellery, my chain lonely But they don’t know about black pearls, but I will show them ‘Why the world sleepin’ on black girls?’ Hey I don’t know, man” has a very personal meaning to Andre. During Andre’s stay in Europe he and his crew threw jewellery to the people for them to be energized and be excited and ecstatic. These jewelleries that were given to the clueless Europeans were described as ‘black pearls.’ These Europeans had no idea on the true value of these ‘black pearls.’ The ‘black pearls’ he was then describing really meant the black women who were taken for granted.

The line “And grandmum tells me to stay humble but do not un-der-stand When they leave mumbles to make ‘em throw up they arms and hands” intends to share to us what Andre’s grandmother shared and taught to him. She taught him the virtue of humility. Although this was tough for him to understand because of the crowd he has, were people constantly gives him praise.

And with the lines “It also says I play the violin and that ain’t true but You give me six strings and a pick And I will make a guitar talk, why, I ain’t gotta say shit” he clarifies the truth that he does not know how to play the violin but he plays the guitars well. This line give justification the title of the song.

The succeeding line “And I encourage any child to pick up some instrument Cuz if you’re mad at your dad or mum, you can grab it and strum” serves as an inspiration for kids or anyone that music on the guitar or any other instrument would be a nice avenue to let go of emotions rather than shouting or taking them out on people.

And the last lines “Eat your cabbage and corn, by the time you’re done You will finally realize that they meant you no harm They was tryin’ to save your crazy ass from what’s to come” serve as a message to the young generation to follow their parents because in the long run, it would be of great help.

And there you have it, the meaning behind the lyrics of Play The Guitar. Despite the tune and their image they have a sublime message for all of us. I hope you learned a lot.

Hi there! Are you ready for another fun-filled and exciting topic on guitars? I hope you are ready because this topic is something that would build your appetite on guitars.

We are all so familiar with those electric guitars that are usually played at concerts. Some classify these sounds as heavy, metal, grunge music because of the tune it brings. The exact opposite of these electric guitars are those classical guitars. Classical guitars bring out a different tune. It is more of a soothing and relaxing sound.

There are a lot of differences between the electric and classical guitar. The differences include position of the guitar, the way to read the notes and the way to strum the strings. If one wants to know more about such differences one is advised to learn classical guitar.

To learn classical guitar is quite a challenge. They need time, money and resources. One must be dedicated when they want to learn classical guitar. They must also have the passion for this kind of activity if not then better not deal with these lessons.

One could opt to have weekly lessons from a private tutor or a one-on-one learning to learn classical guitar. This would be quite costly compared to class lessons. But this is a good way to learn classical guitar because you have more control of the time as well as the pacing. Also this gives more focus on you. It is a hand on teaching process. This is ideal for those who have limited time or those who are time bound to a lot of other things. Try to find a tutor near you. There are a lot out there who would be glad to assist you in your learning.

But to learn classical guitar as I said could be quite costly, good thing there are other methods. One of the alternate to learn classical guitar would be online lessons. This is just as great as having a private tutor less the private tutor. Of course that would also be a disadvantage since there would be no one there to motivate you to study and play. If they opt this they should have the self-discipline and honesty to be able to learn classical guitar. Another pro of this choice would be the affordability and who could be able to practice at your own pace. They would also give you videos, tips, music and a whole bunch of information. There are a lot of sites that you could try to browse. There are those sites that would need some membership and a certain fee. Usually these sites offer the user more music and exclusive videos. Some sites I would recommend would be http://www.learnclassicalguitar.com/index.html and https://masteringthefivedisciplines.com/. Usually these sites are divided according to the user level: beginner, intermediate and advanced level. Just remember to pick sites that you feel comfortable with.

To play and learn classical guitar is very fulfilling, fun and rewarding. Anyone could easily learn and be able to play the classical guitar. It is just a matter of self-determination and will power. You would also need to practice at least 20 minutes a day to enhance those skills being taught to you.

So if I were you, I’d grab my guitar, find a perfect tutor (whether a private or an online guide) and start strumming that guitar! Enjoy!

Welcome to another feature about guitars! This time we shall learn something that is out of the ordinary. A lot of topics have been discussed about guitars, origin, scales and a lot more. But we shall begin with the basics, and that is the classical guitar and how to play classical guitar.

I bet all of you have seen a classical guitar and perhaps is using such. But I guess you did not know that the classical guitar is more than what it appears to be. A lot think that the classical guitar is just an ordinary guitar for beginners. Some would even say that the electric guitar is better and that they would prefer playing such. But in fact, the classical guitar is just as good as the electric guitar. It has more of an edge and is a great instrument.

Before the classical guitar was only played in bars, pubs and salons but now it has grown in popularity thanks to Andres Segovia. People loved the classical guitar because of its unique sound. It could be played individually or in a group concerto. With the evolution of time, people began forgetting how to play classical guitar. This is a sad fate for an instrument that has gone a lot of changes and challenges.

You may say the classical guitar has no difference to any other guitar and it does not matter on how to play classical guitar. Well, you are wrong about that. In fact there is a big difference, from the way one holds the guitar, strumming of the guitar, and the guitar scores. And it is a big deal to know all these.

It is nice to have knowledge on how to play classical guitar. This would make you a more versatile guitarist.

To start off on how to play classical guitar let us discuss the proper way on holding the classical guitar. The body of the guitar must be rested on the left leg of the guitarist. Their left foot is then supported by a stool making the angle of the guitar point upward. You could also try searching Frank LaMonica’s Total Classical Guitar Method to know more about the proper posture on how to play classical guitar.

A big help on how to play classical guitar well is the strumming. There is a big difference in the way the guitarist strums the classical guitar. Instead of using a pick, the guitarist uses their fingernails and the pad of their fingers in plucking the strings. This method creates a difference in the sound and tone. The fingernails create a piercing sound while the finger pad creates warmth to the tone.

There is also a difference in the guitar scores since the notes have lot of numbers and symbols. To know more about these numbers and symbols try searching The Green Guitar Beginner’s Page to gain more insights on these numbers and symbols.

Now we have familiarized ourselves with the difference of the classical guitar, we move on to the different pieces. Classical music and pieces were created and written years ago but are still available up to this point. The good news about these pieces is that they could be downloaded straight from the internet because it has no copyright. To get these pieces you could try The Classical Guitar Music on the Web for a long list of different pieces. These pieces could be played online and be printed.

Here are some sites where you could do additional reading and appreciate more how to play classical guitar. http://guitar.about.com/od/classicalguitar/a/classic_guitar.htm, http://www.learnclassicalguitar.com/, and http://www.squidoo.com/Play_classical_guitar are a few that you could try in order to appreciate and learn more on how to play classical guitar.

Have you ever noticed that your children are interested in some musical instruments such as the guitar? Or have you seen that these children have great potential in order to be the next great guitarist? Or have your children expressed their interest in the guitar? Or you want them to learn something new and have a great hobby such as playing the guitar. If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, then this article is for you. This article will deal on guitar lessons for kids, their special needs and a few benefits.

Did you know that there are guitar lessons for kids? These guitar lessons for kids are specially designed for their little hands and are being taught in a level that they could appreciate and learn more. Children need a different kind of teaching and learning method. There is a big difference between teaching an adult and teaching a kid.

Kids have a shorter attention span compared to adults. With this said the guitar lessons for kids must be able to captivate the kids at every point. Try to include games and things that will make them listen to you. If they could not do that, then their student, the kids will dwindle off and their minds will space out.

Another thing to remember on the difference in guitar lessons for kids and adults is the pace on learning. Kids and adults could be great guitar players. But for a kid they need more time to learn. Teach them at a slower pace and do not bombard them with information. Give them the things they could comprehend at a pace they could follow.

Another difference between an adult and guitar lessons for kids is the size. You would not give a full size guitar to a five year old and expect them to play well with that. They would not be able to carry nor reach the strings. Be logical when giving these kids the instrument. Make sure that they are at the appropriate size. A great thing about the guitar is that it comes in sizes that the small hands of a kid (or even an adult with smaller hands) could manipulate and hold.

When giving guitar lessons for kids it is also nice that they have a peer or a family member who would accompany them. It would be even better if the accompanying person would also play and learn the guitar. They would serve as an inspiration and model to the kid. And who knows, in no time they could jam together and create perfect music.

Guitar lessons for kids are great ways for the child to express themselves and gain confidence. Having the child learn something and be able to perform well in front of people is of great help to boost their self-esteem.

Guitar lessons for kids could also teach them other disciplines and traits that are good for them. They are trained to be diligent, perseverant, and have self-discipline. All these traits not only help them as a student learning the guitar but also as a person doing their day to day activities.

With all these said why not encourage your children to participate in different guitar lessons suitable for their age. It could help them have more interest in the guitar, explore the kid’s full potential, help them achieve their dream, and they could have a new fun hobby. There are a lot of nearby guitar lessons that you and your child could try.

Welcome to another light reading regarding guitar songs!

We all want the easiest and best things in life and this is also true for guitar songs. Most of the time people tend to play those easy musical pieces more often rather than those complicated ones. Well, here we shall give you a list of easiest song to play on guitar plus sites where you could get more great and easiest song to play on guitar.

The term easy is relative. What may be easy may be hard for another and what others perceive as hard may be easy for others. In order to make you, our readers have a unified thought; we shall define the term easy as songs or guitar pieces containing the fewest number of chords as possible. Why this kind of classification? Each chord will mean a different finger placement; the more chords a piece means more things to remember which will make the piece a little bit more challenging. Unlike when the piece contain three chords it would be quite easier to play. As one progress or as one continues to practice they could move on to those containing more chords. These previously hard songs on the guitar would be the easiest song to play on guitar.

I shall suggest to you some of the easiest song to play on guitar.

Here is one of the easiest song to play on guitar and it is entitled Somewhere Over the Rainbow. It is slightly an old song and probably kids of this generation will not like it, but it is a nice beginner’s song. It is a great energy booster for those wanting to become great guitarist since it is easy to learn and play. Try this link, http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/j/judy_garland/somewhere_over_the_rainbow_ver2_tab.htm to be able to familiarize yourself with this song.

An easiest song to play on guitar would be Anything by Nirvana because it only contains three chords. This would also be nice since a lot would be familiar with this song. Another recommended easiest song to play on guitar would be Just Like You by Three Days Grace because of the easy fingering and “open” chords. I would also recommend for the beginner the song entitled, Aerials by System of a Down and songs by Weezer and Hash Pipe as some of the easiest song to play on guitar. Another recommended song by guitarist are Seven Nation Army by White Stripes and Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. These two songs are learned by any beginner.

For those who want a more modern piece, then Decode by Paramore would be nice, although this piece has more chords. It has six to be exact but most of which are repeated. An easiest song to play on guitar that is also modern and would be great for kids of this generation is See You Again by Miley Cyrus.

There are other great songs which you could choose from, whether it is an older piece from the 70’s or a more modern piece. This site http://guitar.about.com/library/bleasysongs_band.htm offers the readers and guitarist a whole other range of songs that they could choose from. Do not worry if at first you could not play them because as you practice you would get the hang of the song.

With practice and determination it is a guarantee that you could be able to play that song smoothly and effortlessly.
